These appear to be well made. It should be noted that I think they will do what they are suppose to do, hold the material so it doesn’t pop up or out once I figure out how.
I wish they included better pictures or instructions on how you attach to a a table saw top or fence so it holds fast, wont move and secure.
The only thing I see is their use of a “T” bolt that is used with a Kreg router table. I have a newer table saw but there isn’t a T slot on top of the fence as they show. How do they do it? I can use a clamp on the fence, but hardly enough room for the clamp and the featherboard.
Then how do you keep the featherboard in the groove on the table top so it holds the wood against the fence?

These featherboards do an excellent job of keeping the workpiece tight to the table of my Delta shaper, and I bought them to replace the completely inadequate hold-down mechanism that the shaper came with (See my review of the Delta 3HP shaper). Installing them on the shaper fence that came with the shaper required that I simply drill two clearance holes in the aluminum fence at an optimum height above the table surface, and use the machine screw-washer-thumbscrew combination to secure each featherboard to the fence tightly. This holds the workpiece in the vertical direction. I then adapted another hold-down mechanism from a Jet shaper to hold the workpiece tight to the fence in the horizontal direction. Both mechanisms work perfectly, allowing precise adjustment of the tightness of the hold-down force.
The material and workmanship of this product is excellent, all principal components are durable plastic. It is perfect for the home craftsman. Also, having a pair of them allows pressure to be applied to the workpiece on both the infeed and outfeed sides of the cutterhead: very important.

Love the product, only thing I’m disappointed in is the fact I had to order an additional piece of aluminum to mount it on the table saw. But it works great.

I use nothing else since finding these, I have 2 sets on my router table and another pair on my table saw. 10 times better than bulldog or other brands I used to use.

Kreg always offer pro-grade products. Everyone has purchased a cheap featherboard before. Most are junk and your afraid this might be the same? No way, this is a great must have tool. It works great and will not let go after you set it.
